we had 11 buddhist monks come to campus and do one of those AMAZING mandala sand paintings. it took them four days. i got to visit with the three that spoke english (and one of those was very very little) quite a bit and they were just wonderful. i can now say "hello" "what?" and "yes" in tibetan, too! :P ( Read more... )

You and your sister are more than enough to get a chapter started. Contact Kala, the "Grassroots Coordinator" at the SFT Headquarters in New York: kala@studentsforafreetibet.org (212-358-0071). His main job is helping cool students like you get something going! Good luck and thanks for the post.
