In Fall River Mass. with Claudine's family for Thanksgiving. Dylan got to learn D & D from his Aunt and Cousins and the rest of the time play video games. He was in his glory. I'm amused  reading Gore Vidal's take on Obama. On the "experience " issue Vidal said Obama has more experience then JFK since Obama was a working Senator while Jack "never went to the office since he knew his father would buy him the Presidency." At my Mom and Dad's house to check my e-mail and other stuff. Won't be back online until the Comcast guy comes on Tuesday. This is do to a silly accident involving me, the cat and a up of coffee. Makes me chuckle at how dependent I am  on being online. Before 96 I actually got most of my information from newspapers.

The Election is over and Obama's victory is good just for the positive reaction to it around the world. I knew Bush was unpopular in Europe and elswhere but the rabid pro-Obama reaction around the world is more then even I thought it would be and i've been following world opinion of the election. I have to do my civic duty and vote today. Since Obama will win Connecticut without a problem I can have some fun with my vote. I'm thinking of either voting for David Letterman or Grover Cleveland. Dylan was in trouble in school today. He was talking back and refusing to participate with the class. I know because he's so smart he gets bored with the 1st grade classwork but he has to learn to stay within boundaries of acceptable behavior. I didn't have to work today. I don't remember the last non-vacation Sunday I took off! Brought Dylan to a birthday party for a boy in his class at the Milford YMCA. Dylan and I are watching the history channel about German rocket attacks on London during WWII. Dylan told me "The Nazis were the Bad Germans" .  You can learn something from Indiana Jones!  Dylan now wants to go on Wookepdia.

OFF from work but too much to catch up on around the house. I'm taking a break from doing Yard work. This yard is not to bad to manage unlike when I lived in Ansonia and would work for a couple of hours and barely make a dent in it.
