It's been kinda crazy in here today. I think I missed some news or something, somewhere, because the girls were either giving me odd looks, or giving the pressroom odd looks.

I suppose I'll figure it out eventually. Perhaps I should start teaching people how to meditate. I think they could use it, seriously.

Yeah, the press room? That would be my doing.

Just...don't even ask.

...Wow. I won't, but if you want a break -- well, I'm still getting to know people around here, so come free me from the crazy man I agreed to work for, if you need a break. If CJ likes you, I think you're someone worth getting to know.

Well, CJ *DID* like me, it might be a little debateable after this recent debacle. I appreciate the offer - might take you up on it if things don't calm down a little.

No problem. I'm either at my desk, or following Josh on one of his incredibly speedy tours of the building, trying not to crash into any filing cabinets or other staffers. So I'm really rather easy to find.

That, and I'm apparently one of the tallest people here. But yeah. Stop by whenever.

Might not be a bad idea... though I doubt you could get Josh to sit still long enough to actually do it right. The caffeine shortcircuits his calm reflex or something...

Hm. Would decaf help?

Noted.

We should probably meet up sometime. I think guidance from my predecessors would be a good thing. The wise man never turns down the voice of experience.

Hm. You'll get the hang of the office gossip thing eventually.

I'm too impatient to meditate.

Nobody's too impatient to meditate. Are you kidding? You should have seen me as a kid. I used to stand up to eat dinner, I was so hyper.

Hah. I was much calmer as a child. Zoey's wrong though, it's not the sugar and caffeine diet.

Well, it's got to be something. I've seen hummingbirds more still than you.

Which is a compliment. Mostly.
