I didn't know you for that long, and I so wished I had gotten to know you better, but as a fellow mathematician who worked in your field (analysis), and as someone who opened up to me beyond the professional realm, I felt an uncommon bond between us. It absolutely made me smile when you said that I should come visit the Uni of Glasgow math dept.,
