1. Where were you born?
I was born in a distant Nightray estate right at the border of the dukedom. It was surrounded by small forests and hills with farm land belonging to our property. It was quite hot during summer and very cold during winter. Actually, I couldn’t imagine a better place for children to grow up.
2. What were some of the first words and phrases you spoke?
“Mama” is the official versions. But from servants I heard that my first word sounded a lot like “damn”. As an infant I usually was somewhere around my father who used to be quite clumsy back then and cursed often when something had gone the wrong way.
3. At what age did you first attend school? What school did you go to? Did you like it?
Uff….*thinks hard*
I attended school right after I turned fifteen. My education had started much earlier in form of home schooling, though. I enjoyed my time at Latowidge more than the home schooling since I was together with people as old as me.
4. Name one of your fondest childhood memories.
I guess most of my memories of my childhood are quite fond. But the picture of a blood red sunset seen from under an old tree in midsummer engraved the most in my mind.
5. Now name one of your worst.
*looks a bit surprised at first*
*averts his gaze while biting his lover lip then*
*seems to feel really uncomfortable*
…Aunt Clair’s death.
6. Name one of your most embarrassing.
On my fifteenth birthday I walked into my mother’s room while she was still changing. She didn’t seem to mind much, but I felt very embarrassed...there also were this cute maids who saw the whole thing…
*grows red by remembering*
7. Which parent/adult were you closest to as a small child?
My father was the closest person to me. I’m sure that my mother loved me as much, or even more, as he did, but she had a more aloof way to show that.
8. What about as a teenager?
See above, till a certain event. I didn’t form such kind of relationship with anyone else ever again.
9. Did you ever try drinking, drugs, or both? What all have you tried? Were you ever caught?
With thirteen I robed my parent’s globe-shaped bar once. I tried a little of everything since I was curious, but almost vomited because it tasted so bad. In the end I felt quite dizzy and didn’t drink anything alcoholic until appropriate age.
10. Did you ever skip school? How frequently?
Sometimes.
11. Who was your best friend when you were really small?
My younger brother. Our age difference is quite small so we had a lot of fun together.
12. Who was your best friend when you were a teenager?
A certain guy named Clayton who had been my roommate at Latowidge. We’re still close friends.
13. Did you sleep with stuffed animals? At what age did you stop - if you ever did?
There was this single Teddy Bear I got for my 1st Birthday. He always sat at the head of my bed till I went to Latowidge where I didn’t take him along. So I stopped at 15. It’s still sitting there, I believe…
*gets all nostalgic*
14. Did you ever have braces or glasses growing up?
Never.
15. Did you ever break your arm or leg and need crutches - or anything similar to that?
I got hurt quite a lot since I was a very active child, but it never got worse than bruises and scratches.
16. Did you ever have any strange habits that you outgrew but were teased for?
Hiding behind my mother’s skirt when getting to know new people.
17. How well did you get along with your parents and siblings?
I got along well with everyone, though the relationship between my father and me changed a lot during the last seven years.
18. If you could go back and change one thing about the past, would you? What would you change?
See Nr.5.
Also, make undone another death I didn’t experience since I was absent at that time.
19. What were some of your favorite pranks to pull when you were younger? Did you have any favorite jokes? What made you laugh the most back then?
I liked to exchange sugar for salt, though after a nice talk with my mother I never did that again. My father’s attempts to make my mother smile made me laugh the most. It really was amusing…
*sifts a laughter*
20. Did you have any pets? If not, why? If you did, what were they?
We always had pets around the house, though I don’t really remember the ones from early childhood. In my early teens I got this little kitten though I wanted a dog and I named him meatball since I wanted him to grow as big as a dog…hahaha… *laughs at own naivety*
21. We finished. How do you feel?
...like visiting mother.
*rushes off the room banging the door shut*
