Thanks - it's nice to write it again! And his barbarianism is definitely in full force. It's like some part of his brain knows that she's the daughter to the woman who holds the most powerful tool ever, but the rest of him just keeps thinking about how feminine & delicate & 'pure' she is and how much fun it would be to conquer that untouched 'land' in the most primal way.

I always love it when you write something slightly darker, you excel at it. You do this thing were you explore the cultural differences between moon and earth (you did it in the meat/vegetarian fic too), and it's always so very insightful. Endymion here is not the gentle and kind lover that the manga portrays him as, there are no rose petals and candles, just raw longing and the wish to possess. Amazing job, honey, absolutely stunning.

(I also quite like what you did stylistically, starting each line with the focus solely on Endymion (he dreamed, he beheld, he squeezed harder). It just adds to the overall effect, to a sense of pressure and egocentrism. He puts himself first in this moment, Serenity a firm second.)

Thank you! I find that even their physical appearances make for a good representation of the differences between the two & it's just so fun emphasizing it. I like writing Endymion in a more primal manner - he may be a prince & capable of romance, but he's still a man & therefore, capable of much more.

(Thank goodness! There are not as many synonyms for 'imagine' as I had hoped, so a couple required some creativity & alterations.)
