I applaud your conviction, on both the ticketholding and SPCA fronts. Seriously.

I fully expected Vick to get a second chance somewhere, and some sportswriter on ESPN.com had mentioned last week (?) that the Eagles were one of a few franchises with strong enough "infrastructure" for him, but damned if I thought he would show up here. Believe me, I would have been perfectly happy to see him languish in the UFL or just fade away altogether.

My moral-outrage meter just isn't in the red here. I thought it might be, but no.

I'd like it better if he and the team would pledge some large percentage of his salary to the SPCA.
