disaster 2 in 1 aka DmC

Haven't posted before because I don't have that much of an opinion on the "gameplay work in progress" trailer, really. I don't give a flying fuck about DmC, but care about DMC and it makes me rage hard that people are trying their damnedest to shoehorn it into original timeline.

1. WHITE HAIR DT. I knew it. I fucking knew it. Did anyone expect ( Read more... )

I didn't give a flying fuck about the movie in the first place, so I'm actually glad to hear it'll be based on DmC. I was actually thinking about the movie this morning, and how there was no way they could cast anyone to play Dante that I would approve of. Like I've said a million times before, this series is like my baby since I was with it during its gestation and there to get it when it was born. I think I'm doing better thinking of it as a completely different thing though, in which case I'd rather they NOT do the stupid hair change DT shit. *sigh* But like you said about the city, I really am intrigued by the story. It's made me think maybe the whole "don't believe their lies" or whatever is a secret message for us not to believe this ugly bitch is really Dante or something.

Ah, wishful thinking~ *sigh*

I'm glad I have you to understand my pain about this. ;_;

If it was CG movie, I would have been interested. But live action? It'd be really hard to find an actor who could portray Dante. The only reason why I'm pissed at the movie is because I don't want DmC to get more recognition than it already gets. As a movie tie-in, it can get Capcom more money than if it was simply a game ( ... )

Ugh, I didn't think about the movie getting DmC more attention. Fucking Capcom. Well whatever, I think there's probably enough of us who want our Dante back that they might actually do something serious with the original franchise again someday. Or maybe that's just more wishful thinking.

Lol I'm the opposite. I don't see anything impressive about the environments or visuals, about anything. On the other hand, even though the whole "illusionary world" plotline is way overdone, it will always interest me, the same way demons and the Key of Solomon and the Inferno and general Hell related things will always interest me, even though they're done to death.

Oh yeah, the enemies---HORRIBLE. I don't get a demon vibe from those things at all. >\

I just can't be optimistic about this. ._. If Capcom were more intelligent, I wouldn't be so quick to bury DMC, but as it is, I'd rather expect the worst.

The graphics were of horrible quality, but I'm a major sucker for the kind of architecture in the first few seconds of trailer. Not the other part though. Nothing impressive there.

Yeah, nothing there screams "demons". It looks more like products of delusional mind, mutants, deformed creeps, the like. The boss or whatever was shown last was gross. I don't like gross things. - - I don't find them scary, just disgusting.
