We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee

I don't know if this is connected, but I have started to think that the way to achieve what might look like an impossible goal is not necessarily to take some big exhausting step in that direction but to try to ride on on small currents that are sort of travelling in a similar direction. For example, if you want to run your own business you could either go out and quit your job, try to take out a huge loan to buy everything you need, fail and then give up OR you could start by chatting with people about your dream, maybe someone has a shop and could sell a few of your things for you. Okay, it's not what you wanted - to have your OWN shop and live off the profits - but it's a start in the general direction. One thing leads to another and sometimes along the way you're only running alongside of where you originally meant to go but eventually you get there.

Today I'm feeling totally uninspired so far. Oh well.
