Amazingly, I am alive. Just very busy. Back at work full time and when I'm not working I'm scurrying around trying to look after Kyle, catch up with housework, stay organised with meals for us all, keep in touch with family and friends etc etc etc ( Read more... ) -
Nursery
Time is flying. Kyle had his first settling-in day at nursery today. He was fine, don't think he even noticed I was gone, but I did get a big happy grin when I arrived back which was sweet. I, on the other hand, was a mess. He's back in for a longer session tomorrow, then full-time from Monday. I start work on the 2nd April. I am not religious in ( Read more... ) -

Ow. My back hurts. It did make delightful crunching and snapping noises earlier in my attempts to ease the pain. I need a massage, but since that isn't going to happen, I'm just going to take drugs and shovel lots more food into my face. No wonder I am about the size of a whale. -

I am now officially a boring old fart.
I have purchased a slow cooker. With vouchers given to me at xmas. And I'm really excited. I'm not even going to mention that I've ordered a recipe book and a heat resistant spatula to go with it!
Is it really as tragic as I think it is? -
7 months old!
Can't believe how big he's getting and how quickly time passes. Must be the haze of sleep deprivation!

J rocks
Yet another reason why I love J. He insisted I relax tonight, poured a bath for me, put everything in the bathroom that I needed and told me to stay in there as long as I liked. Whilst he did all the housework and got Kyle's bottles ready for tomorrow.
I'm so lucky. And now, thanks to the bath, I also look less like the beast woman from Borneo! -
6 months!
Kyle turned 6 months on Sunday! I can't quite believe that much time has passed and how big he's getting. It's a shame that I don't have as much (read: any) time to post and comment these days, but I still read my flist and think about you all.

Merry Christmas
Hope everyone has had a great Christmas. I've had a lovely time and Kyle seems to have really enjoyed his first Christmas, though he wasn't too interested in his toys he just wanted to eat the wrapping paper and envelopes!
