Just over three months to go!

I have been so busy, too busy even to write here. i have fought with my mother again and again, and she is planning my life for me there, but I am planning my life for me here. She doesn't get it. I can't be mothered if I'm going to be a mother, and I can't be anything but mothered when I am around my mother

It's the name of Tamm's best friend, Kathleen, but she needed a different short version :)

Yes, I think Kathleen is too much of a name for someone so small. It's perfect to grow in to, though. It has class but it's also fun!

Hey, it's awesome to see you so committed to the whole thing, sweetheart. I reckon your uni's gotta make allowances for you being pregnant and all, too. Maybe if you talk to London Uni, they'll liaise with back home and run equivalent exams here or something?

And you gotta admit, Tamm is like the best name ever if you have a boy.

Oh no I'm not at Uni, I'm still at high school! It's my last year, though, and I wuold love to go to uni, but maybe in a few years time, because I wouldn't want to leave my baby at home to be raised by a stranger. You see that a lot, back home, children being raised by their nannies. I don't like it.

Tamm is a nice name ;) Is it short for anything?

I'm totally with you there. Ain't no stranger ever gonna raise my kid. She's our little girl, mine and Kay's. Best treasure in the world, she is. You got plenty of time for uni, time for all the things in life. I'm just glad you're doing things your way.

Nah, Tamm's just Tamm, always has been. My parents had an interesting way with names, didn't go with the usual fare. My sister was Jubilee. Passed on now, rest her soul. But you can imagine the looks Tamm and Jubilee got. Fun times, those.

Not yet. All in good time. My husband Aleric and I only just got married, and he's a very busy man. He's just taken over a business here in London, actually, and it's going to mean good things for a lot of people. Maybe once that's all settled down and running smoothly, we'll talk about children. I still feel so blessed just to be married to such a wonderful man!
