I read the book and want to see this!

Didn't know the author had an lj.....I'll have to check that out. Thanks for posting about it.

You're welcome! I haven't read the books (totally going to make up for this!) but I'm totally sold to it after the first 2 episodes.
I'm told the tv adaptation is very faithful to the books, so now I'm unsure about reading it or not right now, I don't want to spoil my self... decisions, decisions :D

I say wait until the end to read the book and just enjoy right now.

It's been a few years since I've read the books and I've been thinking about reading them again. Think are are two that I haven't read in the series and need to refresh my memory before reading them.

you're right, probably is the best thing to do. I'm only sorry that whenever I'll read the book, the characters will have the actors appearance.

I haven't, but I've known those that had, who really love the characters throughout. I heard the zombie thing is a slow build up (I'm like how slow)

But so far, these characters are pretty damn fascinating!

YES.

I am such a fan of the books (HUGE FAN) and seeing it on TV makes my entire week! Arya is a great character. My favorite is the Hound *_* I love tormented, disfigured men with a mean streak.

I love that the show is opening up the fandom to new people, much like True Blood did... Although I hope Game of Thrones stays a bit truer to the books.

I love that there's so many awesome characters and ships and plot twists and just... GAH! I'm so psyched you're watching :D

the Hound being the man who scared a little Sansa in the second episode, right?

I've read the show will stay as true to the book as possible.

I really need to find comms and such, I miss being part of a fandom! :)

There's tons of comms, just be careful of spoilers if you're not going to read the books. Book 5 is coming out in July and we're only on episode 2 of the show. A LOT will be ruined for you and I'd hate that :(

Yes, the Hound is the very tall man that Sansa bumped into in episode 2. Their love is so epic it hurts!!

oh I don't mind the spoilers too much... but probably the safer thing is stay away from a lot of comms atm.

epic love? I'm all for epic love! :)
