My guess - you're overexaggerating.
First off, Best Buy is a very large and domineering store. It's like come visit me at my job at Wal-Mart. SnoHut gives you 10 feet to work with there. Come visit me and do what exactly? "Hey, hey, gotta work, bye."
And yes, the Sno-Cones may have something to do with it. But are you telling people, come by, I'll give you a free one? C'mon. Of course, people are going to take you up on it.
Also, if you're making people promise to visit you at work, that would be nagging. No. Bad.

Oh my! A Livejournal entry from Shawn? Am I going insane?

I tried to come visit you at work last time I was in Arlington, however, I went to the wrong Best Buy because I did not have very much information and assumed the wrong location.

I'd visit you were I to be in Arlington. Alas, it will probably be some time before I'm anywhere remotely near the metroplex again.

Maybe your friends are scared to visit you at Best Buy because it's a much more professional place than Sno-Hut and they don't want to get you fired? I don't visit my friends here at work because they would all be mad at me.

Oh well... everyone is different.
