First, the soon-to-be irrelevant good news: Production is to begin shortly on a film based on the Hitman video game series (one of which I would actually like to see made into a movie). If I didn't know any better, I would be excited. It's just too bad

i want to see a half-life movie... but any casting of gordon freeman would be disapointing. you cant really base a movie on a first-person game, can you?

Well, they did cast the Rock to play the leading room in the upcoming Doom film, so, uh, hmm, yeah, irrr, nevermind....

I think Hollywood has some kind of secret agenda to destroy gaming as we know it. They must take it personal that video games are quickly catching up to the film industry in the profits margin.
