I think it's tumblr's way of telling me to go and do other things.

(And last thing, real quick, DON'T THESE PEOPLE STILL GO TO COLLEGE?! It was at the start of the Season when Blair told her mom she was pregnant and Elanor was all, but you're still in College and I was like WTF, why do we never see you there?! I understant that it's boring to see them in college and the writers have grown weary with it, and so are sending people off to the world of work and into ultra-serious relationships. But still. They could have mentioned it. Gee Blair, how can you take all this time off to visit Monacco and be a princess? Oh, I'm taking a year out of college. Okay, thanks for wrapping that up for me :)

And what bugs me most- WHY ARE BLAIR AND DAN, IF NO ONE ELSE (because Nate had a proper job now, and Serena has all but officially dropped out) NEVER IN CLASSES OR REVISING?! THEY CARED SO MUCH ABOUT SCHOOLING IN HIGH SCHOOL, WHERE HAS THAT LOVE OF KNOWLEDGE GONE?! THIS IS THEIR LAST YEAR, WHERE ARE ALL THEIR OVERDOSES OF COFFEE AND STRESS BREAKDOWNS?! WHERE IS THE REINFORCEMENT THAT CONTACTS AREN'T EVERYTHING

in my happy au world where they are not confined to constraints and the shittiness of this stupid fucking show both dan and blair got into yale and from there became close friends then closer still as the gr8 couple they were destined to be.

it's pretty ridic that out of all the characters it's nate who is the most successful career wise. i'm happy and all for him bc he's so cute and harmless and is given nothing to do but of anyone, he seemed the most...i dunno aimless. and this would be a better sell for me if his arc was in any way satisfactory when usually all this spectator biz just seems to keep him out of the main action.

why is this show in existence honestly.
