Haha - thanks for understanding! Wah, seeing the 'you've been outbidded' made me die a little i think. I even went above my 'what i will spend' limit and was cursing that i kept getting outbid. I should have just put in a $100 max or something (it went for $63). Though, that's a little too much to spend...especially if it isn't actually vintage. I am going to make my friend make me it...even if she has to screenprint the damn fabric herself! Hahaha!

I will keep an eye out for the fabric, although I haven't seen anything like that around - I can also ask my mom, who is a mad-quilter-fabric type and is currently scouring stores in the U.S. for materials.

i don't know about that fabric, but this girl Magda who used to run Marmalade in Kensington market makes very similar mod-style dresses...she sells them at Fresh Collective (this designer collective that has some cute stuff)...it's about 3 doors east of Magic Pony.
