With the recent troubles regarding the upgrades on Battle.net, it's nice to see someone value this game for more than its multiplayer aspect. It's pretty much all I hear about now is "this game sucks because I can't play on bnet without temp bans and spambots!!1!"

Since you won't have to worry about being kicked off, you could skip the Chaos Sanctuary, but the Hell Difficulty Oblivion Knights are level 85 and will grant 110k minus that cut for your level, but that cut is no worse than the Worldstone Keep. Between Gores/Guill's and Arreat's/War Travellers, there really isn't a choice for me. Give me the green winged helm and the crusher boots any day. There's still plenty of room to make up what you'd be losing. And just for fun, did you drop a single point in Battle Cry so you can benefit from the 50% reduced Defense Rating? The ITD from your Grief will matter less and less, but don't forget that as you're gaining levels, your chance to hit monsters also increases ( ... )

CS is really just a place I enjoy killing stuff, and I can't WSK unless I kill the Ancients. In the mid-high 90s that limits me to either Pit or CS and I'm pretty sure CS will work out better for me at that point. However, I think I'm going to do some Pitting in the early 90s. I'm not overly fond of the unleechable skeletons in there, but everything else falls over ( ... )

I failed, badly, at maths. Well, I didn't quite correctly recall a formula, which I guess mucked up everything other than what I did for me being level 88. Level 95, 95% chance to hit requires more like 21500ar. So, err, yeah, adjust most of those other numbers up a bunch. That makes Grief far, far stronger than before. Plenty of Zealot style characters struggle to get that kind of AR while balancing other stats too.

Without -%def, a handy Conviction aura or similar, ITD is ridiculous, especially on characters struggling for AR. A level 88 character in CS with 10k AR and nothing to help lower defences would gain near enough 10-15% damage by shoving a Jah in their weapon (more gained vs elites, less vs the normals).

It is fine, though, between my first post and this, I rolled two Griefs in 1.07 eth Zerkers. One got a great roll, one got a ridiculous roll, I'm happy with my choice :-p My single player rune stash is looking extremely thin, mind you.
