Seems whenever I play with "What ifs" it ends up really dark...

Thanks. In longer fics I try to fix what went wrong, but with drabbles I always seem to end up showing how it could have been worse LOL

Very nice! Dark and interesting. I almost wish it were a whole fic! But they work excellently as drabbles.

dark, but brilliant ... I especially loved the second one, as I can imagine that's what would have happened if Riley had stayed (although adding Dawn's death was a master stroke)
