As for the Jenny part, it always felt to me as if - no matter that he wore his guilt like a halo - Angel never really identified himself with Angelus. And it's not like the Scoobies' attitude helped with that. So it would be logical for him to expect Giles to blame Angelus not Angel for Jenny's death.
Hmmm, if Dru goes with him you'll find out soon. All I can say is that the girl knows what she is doing ;-)
Giles and his Darla-dusting is what gave the chap it's name btw. Thought Giles was still owed some...

Sing out sista he never really felt guilty - blamed it on Angelus and made sure that the two identities were kept seperate. Whereas he is both Angel and Angelus we all have good and evil in us. The brooding I think was more a manfestation of his ennui rather than anything else...am I making sense of should I get more sleep....

Hey, if it was my decision they wouldn't have to stop! Endless Angel torture is not what I have in mind for this one though. But maybe I'll actually try and make something readable out of this text-file I have, where I write stuff whenever I'm furious at one of the characters. Could be interesting...

You liked me bringing that up? Good! Thought it was a pity that they all seemed to forget about it. And honestly, being teens again is a pretty poor excuse for the police-car-romp. Can't remember doing something like that all the time when I was a teen - hmmm, maybe that's where I went wrong?
I'll try to update soon. Next chapter is actually nearly done but I'm having some difficulties deciding where to end it....
I must admit I find the present tense third person narrative a little harder to read than a more conventional structure would be, but you do it well enough to overcome that drawback and I'm enjoying this a lot.
I know that writing in present tense is not the best idea, and find it harder to read in other fics myself. Never planned to use it either but I kept slipping when I tried to write it in past tense. Don't know why either. I had the same problem with Through another's eyes while I have parts of other fics sitting on my hard-drive with whom I didn't have any problems of that sort.
Those two seemed to have a mind of their own and in the end I decided to let them have their way. Even if it's a bit harder to read, it probably still beats driving my betas crazy because I'm not able to stay in one time.
Wandered over here through a link on a friends list post and I was happily surprised to find this fic . Keep up the good work. I'm friending so I won''t miss any updates.
