I had a number of thoughts yesterday that I almost posted...but instead I played Super Smash Bros. Brawl, drank coffee, and played some more, till my eyes dried out and I stank of the unique sweat that comes from continuous mental concentration and aggravation.

sounds a lot like how I've been though. I should quit my job and find something better but I'm too lazy. I've been there 7 months now and I know what I'm doing, but I hate it. (though 7 months is nothing like 2 years)
I think it's just the hate of change and the comfortable feeling of knowing where you stand, even if you don't like it. Also the whole application process sucks BAD. Which could explain the laziness as well. Or mebbe that's just me but whatever hah

Chances are if you tried to IM me last night I would've missed it. The google screensaver fucks with messanger and makes it not make sound. I've changed it though and that no longer is a problem. The other thing is often times I wander away from the computer and my messanger never marks me idle (at least till the screensaver comes on). Typically I'll be very close to my computer and don't want to be marked as away.

Well the two years is actually combined...interestingly I've only been where I am now for...seven months. But my last job where I was a janitor I held for one year and four months.

Anyhow, cheers! Don't be afraid to chat whenever.
