Free Stuff and a Flying Demon
Free to good any home!
Old wooden coffee table that would probably look ten times better painted or at least get a new coat of varnish, and an el-cheapo tv stand. Aside from the scratches on the surface of the table, both are in pretty good condition and are very sturdy.
*note: Um, Gorey is not up for grabs. He stays here with me, but I couldn't get him to keep off the stand long enough to get a photo. ;0)
Quite a few of you live in Raleigh or a nearby area, so I figured I would post this before taking them to the good will. If anyone wants them, let me know.

I think all the sleep I’ve gotten over the weekend has helped to get rid of the beginning stages of the cold. All hail vitamin C and Tylenol.
Today I got a lot of cleaning done, and also ran an errand I have been putting off for quite some time. firegrl_nc was kind enough to accompany me and lead the way through the labrynth of aisles that is Walmart. Yay for black and orange storage boxes! Pity they didn’t have all black bins, but still black and orange is better than the other standard colors of white, clear or light blue.
Last night the automatic cat litterbox died. (R.I.P.), but instead of getting another automatic one I’m going to try the regular run-of-the-mill box again. If you have only one or two demons, the automatic box is heavenly, but when you have three you’re changing the box every other day so you might as well save money on the special plastic boxes and just scoop right?
Also, while at Wally World I was able to pick up some stretchy thread for the Halloween helmets. Now all I need to find are some red feathers, which I’m sure will be at a local craft store. One small step closer to Flying Monkey-dom!! heh
