Getting up before the sun should be verboten on major holidays. One of my cats gleefully took this opportunity to start the eating day ASAP. The other one didn't even get up off the bed, instead chosing to give me the old, "what the shit are you doing out of bed at this ungodly hour?" grimace when I turned the bathroom light on. FUN!

This evening the illustrious desl and I are going to The Devil Makes Three's show at The Starry Plough. It should be awesome! As Dan put it, they make the sort of music that punk rockers would make when they decide to go back to their bluegrass roots. We're planning on getting there around 9pm. I just saw what looked like a shooting star except it was super bright & looked like it went straight down into the hills between Fremont & Sunol. Straight out of War of the Worlds! I normally think that stuff is in the realm of the gullible & those without critical thinking skills, but this definitely gave me a "...wtf?" moment...
