Glad you're feeling a little better. I think the vitamins do help. So what kind of 'boxes' did you get at Ikea? I'm still planning on getting a coffee table and perhaps an end table from Ikea. And perhaps a frame if I can find one that fits a picture I picked up in China that is apparently a rather odd size. I really don't want to pay for the custom framing since the picture was pretty cheap! Anyway, I seem to have a whole list of things I want to buy lately. Besides the tables and frames, I'm looking for a bike to get out and enjoy the nice weather, I need to go back to REI to see about a waistpack I bought - the pack is fine, but the water bottle that came with it, not so much - after washing it out, I filled it with water and put the lid back on to let the clear water run through the top and nothing came out! And you're supposed to drink water from this how? I'm also looking for another pair of sneakers and maybe a rain jacket...Sheesh ( ... )

the boxes are a kind of nylon-y fabric (easily spongeable!), and they're the kind that fold flat but then open out, and there's a zip diagonally across the bottom which then holds them rigid. we got two blue/green and two red/orange, and they're to go in our baby changing table unit thing, which doesn't exist yet, but my dad has agreed to make. we already have a chest of drawers which we want to use as part of of, so the unit will be a leg down one side, the chest of drawers down the other (with room between for a nappy bin - we're going to use re-usables), with four cubbies with boxes in along the top, to make it up to a good height for changing.

i've had some awkward-shaped pictures in the past - i tend to just buy a standard frame, and then make a card "frame" within the frame which has a hole of the right size. as long as you're quite steady-handed with a craft knife it's pretty easy to do.

Sarah, do they have "second hand" clothes stores there? They are wonderful for things like maternity clothes! Also, ask at church, you would be surprised how many people want to get rid of clothes.

And IF you dont have a second hand clothes store near you, it is a great idea!

yeah, there's actually a baby-specific one in mickleover, but i haven't been yet. we have been offered a lot of stuff by my friend vicky, but she's about half the size of me to start with!

if i was a bit handier with a sewing machine i might attempt to make some - i can just about do dresses and tops, but for some reason i believe trousers to be infinitely more complicated, and therefore intimidating ;o)

i have ordered some belly bands, so i'll see how i get on with those. if they're comfy i can get away with lower trousers - the ones i bought on friday really are very comfortable.
