Seems more and more everything in life is connected to be used with technology and the internet - be it downloading ebooks, checking the news, connecting with friends, creating/designing something new, making a sales deal with someone across the world, or buying groceries ( Read more... )

irreplaceable? good work ethics, ambition and a good attitude. some business models and ideas may not be original nowadays, but it takes someone with a drive to be successful to make it work :) at least that's what i live by. ^^

Maybe not directly advertising, but they will run online marketing campaigns to sway consumers. This can be either through corporate blogs or viral campaigns. I guess my point is that if you want to be successful in today's market, an online presence is pretty much a requirement. I was just trying to think if one can achieve success without the need of the internet.
