Squint a bit

Reading a Klaine fic that's a reworking of Legally Blonde made me want to watch the film again for the first time in about 10 years.

So we find it online and start watching and it's cute but something really bugs me about the ex-boyfriend Warner, apart from him being a massive arse for dumping Reece Witherspoon's character.

ROTFL! It's so funny you're mentioning this.

Legally Blonde was on telly here a couple of weeks ago and I caught a few minutes (I'd seen it before, in the cinema when it came out, and I caught the musical in London the year before last) and I was like, "Wait a moment.... Elle's ex looks a bit like Matt Davis. ... OMG, IT IS MATT DAVIS!" I thought it was rather shocking. I think I even tweeted about it.

Your day in York sounds great. Flirting with baristas is always fun. :D

I must have missed your tweet about it :( I wish I'd seen it because it was totally bugging me who he was and I hate giving in and resorting to IMDB. It was only when he was in the car following Elle as she walked home and smiled a certain way that I realised. I joined you in your shock, but then it was kinda awesome.

York is always fun. It was threatening to rain the whole time and there were massive thunder clouds, but we avoided the showers. Plus I only spent about £20 and most of that was on lunch and then coffee so a bargain day.

I love my flirty barista, mainly because S thinks the whole thing is hilarious and keeps raising her eyebrows at me, but in a totally non-jealous way which is lucky, I guess! He not only remembers my order, but he remembers my name as well even though we hadn't been in for a month.

I like how totally different Matt's Legally Blonde character is from Alaric!!! :D

It was only twice I think that I've been to York, but I loved it, and now you made me a little nostalgic. It's such a lovely old town, and the minster is great. (And now I suddenly remember Eternal Law, LOL!)

I used to have a barista I flirted with at a Starbucks here, but he's gone now. *sadface*
