my name is nikky. i am a teen-something and finishing my last year in high school. i have happily been with my boyfriend since february 14, 2010. he is a goofball and a drummer, and i adore him to bits and pieces. the other half of my heart is a kitten named roxy, whom i also love to bits and pieces. i am planning on attending NMSU-A for two years, and then transferring to UCCS to complete my major. i've yet to narrow it down to just one, but i have four specific majors in mind. i harbor a secret adoration of charles lutwidge dodgson, and a not-so-secret adoration of e.e. cummings. i never type with capital letters but i am a stickler for grammar. i hope to one day retire in france and live out my days eating baguettes and wearing berets.
my interests include (but are most certainly not limited to):
writing, poetry, swimming, good conversation, comfortable silence, any form of cooking, italy and italian food, history (more specifically, the 16th and 17th centuries), economics (and everything in that broad category), pokemon (all generations), shopping, thrift shopping, web design & coding, spongebob squarepants, hiking, rock climbing, and late-night adventures to denny's.
to sum myself up in one word: ever-changing.
i have found that one must keep their mind open in order to function. i try as hard as possible to keep myself open to new ideas & concepts, & to never judge based on appearance alone.
