We have a new apartment as of November 1 in Arlington. We'll be moving in to our new place between Nov 1 and Nov 15. Pizza, beer, and much thanks will be offered to all those who can help us move. Naturally, mail will be sent later.

Now comes the excitement of getting all the logistics (utilities, etc) worked out and getting everything packed

RCN has been sucking. I'm ready to stop hosting my mail/web services out of my home. Anyone have a suggestion for a linux/bsd based hosting provider they like? I want to be able to run mail, a database backed wiki, and a webserver. Any recommendations?

We've been building a fence in our backyard. We are approaching the time where all the poles need to have fencing hung on them. And we'd love to have help. There will be food, drink, music, people, and power tools. It should be a fun. And we'd love for more folks to join us.

So please come out and help fence. It'll be fun.

I'm off to Falconridge today. Looking forward to a couple days of lounging and good music. Should be a blast.

I gave my formal 3 weeks notice today. Current plan is to find a job that will let me start in the beginning of June. Which will mean I should have pretty much all of May free. Which will be excellent. No solid plans yet, but I have some good ideas... And I'll probably be up for almost any crazy plan someone suggests ( Read more... )

Off to Falcon Ridge Folk Festival tomorrow. My plan is to show up there in the 3-5pm range. I'll be camped out there until Sunday. It promises to be quite a great festival.
