Yes, I think it really has been a year since my past post, and I think it related to the same topic! I'll be heading to Toronto next weekend for my annual birthday bash, and will be at Savage on Saturday (17th) night. I hope to see a few of you out, and perhaps even catch up with a few more should the opportunity arise :D

Yeah, I probably should. I tend to do concerts and a few one-off events, but going out regularly is something I've lost interest in. EeEE! that sounds sad! I heard that ReVamp is heading to Saturday nights at some point in the summer, so I'll probably put that into the rotation. Sunday nights are a real challenge to fit in. Do you still hang out at the Dom? Now there's a place with enough nostalgia to get me off my ass :P

Aw!! You were one of the people I was hoping to see! Everything here is fine - and busy! I'm teaching right now, so my days are super long and draining. I'm hoping to get a bit of a respite in the summer. Until then, I'm trying to learn how to relax... this isn't something I'm particularly good at, but if I don't try to sit still I won't have enough energy to meet the other demands on my time. From your most recent posts, it seems you can relate!

I can definitely understand being busy and trying to relax -- relaxing is much easier said than done for some people like us.

Thanks for the pre-emptive birthday wishes! Yes, one of the perils of never posting is that I'm in constant danger of being pruned :P I do read everything though, at some point. I'll probably post some pics and text in a few weeks once my garden starts to look less like a muddy mess - I also have a few more house related before and after pics that pretty much chronicle where all my free time has been spent in the last two years!

Aw! You definitely deserve a night off!!! But I'll be sad to miss you. I doubt I'll recognize any of the other staff, come to think of it. I should be there till the bitter end, and I'd love to buy you a drink should you stop by!
