Hee! Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. I do hope their race goes well -- more than a winner, I almost hope they finish equally, at this rate! (Hot smex indeed -- hah! But, alas, Shounen Jump is, after all, a boys' magazine.) And, mm, as a matter of fact, I've just added an edit about chapter 83 and my take on it! Oh, I do agree -- I think its difficulty adds to the interest!

I just wanted to tell you that I thought you profiled the M/N relationship wonderfully. You really did. You brought up a lot of good points, and you explained a lot of things really well. You're right- it's probably not possible for them to feel mildly about each other, so once they stopped hating each other, there was no where else for them to go but love. (And smex. It should have happened. It should have.)

I think that Mello's inferiority complex got in the way of them having any kind of earlier relationship, but once they started their little tag-team bit...

But yeah. I''ve rambled for long enough. =D

I've just stumbled upon this entry while I was googling for usual MelloNear addiction, but in the end, I couldn't help but reading it, and frankly, I found your perception about their twisted relationship's very entertaining!^^
