Okay, well! I sometimes worry that I'm not getting across some of the things Mello's thinking or feeling, because, in an attempt at Death Note genre style, Mello hides 90% of what he, well, thinks and feels, and pretends at something else instead. Well, I don't really have any concrit for you, since I love your Mello, but I was just wondering - do you have interest in playing Mello anymore? From observation both of CFUD and your personal LJ, it seems like you don't have the same enthusiasm for Mello or Death Note anymore, and you've called Mello your "hardest character," and scarcely play him anymore, particularly compared to Hakkai.

I hope you do, since, as I said, I love your Mello! Just wondering.

Huh! I didn't think I'd mentioned him being my hardest publically often -- I think I'd only mentioned that to about two, three people. Ha ha. :) Well, at any rate... he is my hardest. He's tense, paranoid, miserable a lot of the time, and has to pretend to like everyone around him. He's also super-intelligent and I can't play him when dopey for fear of being singled out or noticed or have 'bad RP' pointed out to me, because it's harder to justify with Mello, especially when I've got a 'major rival' like Near who it's IC to jump on Mello with ( ... )

You've mentioned it on IRC (oops, anonymity lessened, oh well) that he's your hardest, and by less, I meant "less than you used to" more than "less than you should."

And, yeah, thank you. It's good to know. Painful, but I'd rather know than just wonder.

I thought I'd be as wordy as possible to avoid confusion (hee!) or missing the point. I'm glad it helps somewhat!

Ah! Gotcha, yeah. I must have said that publically sometime, I guess, meep! And gotcha.

Heh, well. I don't intend to drop him. He's a character I will PROBABLY fall back into again, and I'd rather not risk it by dropping. But yeah, I'll admit I'm struggling right now with a lack of desire.
