i got sick on tuesday, and am only now beginning to feel human, yet i've been to work the last two nights and managed to make it through, at least in a relative sense. now i just feel as though a truck has run over me, just a small one, and i wish i could call off and just make a long weekend of it. why do i have to have such a strong work ethic???

in fact, that's about it. it's also why i allow myself to get roped into staying an extra 3 hours half the nights i work... overtime is a beautiful thing. my supervisor knows it, too, and offers me extra hours whenever she can. only problem is, i keep forgetting it's ok to say no if there's other things i need to do...

Yikes. That's a lot of OT!
One thing I learned in my 2+ years as an Interior Design major is that I shouldn't do any more work than I absolutely have to unless it is something Im really enjoying doing.
