Satine is in her room by herself, singing.

This is not terribly unusual, really. She's got an armchair, and a window with a lovely view of something she's sure isn't on the other side of the wall, and a tidal wave of survivor's euphoria she's not likely to stop riding in a fundamental way very soon.

Mary Anne's on her way downstairs to pick up a few cleaning supplies from Bar, when the hint of music from behind a door catches her attention. The voice sounds familiar.

She sings a few bars in a fair harmony and knocks.

Satine thinks she knows that voice as well. And even though its owner has seen her without clothes on, she pulls her kimono tighter, ties the waist and hurries as best she can to open the door.

"One whole week before you come through on singing for me! Mary Anne Bell, what a scandal."

Oh, but she's grinning as she says it, there's no mistaking that.

She pulls Mary Anne in for a hug. "Do you have time to keep me company? I've missed you lately."
