thursday nites suck

I hate thursday nites. "he" comes in from the bar every thursday night drunk as piss. and the first person who is trying to make him happy (my mom) is the first person to get slapped to the ground. i feel so helpless when i see it happening but there is nothing i can do about it

I really wish there was something I could do or advice I could offer..
But my step dad is the same way. -hugs- Have you tried talking to anyone? Like maybe a counselor?

yeah my mom started dating him about 2 years ago and it has just gotten worse over the years. for some reason my mom loves him. i have tried to go to police and anyone i can but my mom lies for him and says that im making up shit because i hate him. so i just have my friends to lean on and they help me alot. how do you get through it?

I usually lean on my friends too, or turn to my real dad and sister.
