Just to begin with, I love Edward. I love Rob for doing such a wonderful job making Edward live in my mind's eye. I'm kind of eh about Kristen but I love Bella also. She's not just a wringing her hands sort of damsel in distress and she holds her own with Edward, forcing him to see her not just as an extension of himself but as her own person

I don't dislike Jake...although I certainly don't agree with the way he went about some actions (kissing). He is a typical boy trying to get his point across, just doing it the wrong way. Edward, while a teen in age, is a man mentally. I do think Jake is important to the story line. He is the one that puts the ideas of vampires into Bella's mind in Twilight, or else it *might* not have occured to her. Also, while Bella is not my favorite character, she was distraught in NM and it was Jake that helped put her back together again....sure, he might have had alterior motives, but he succeeded in bringing a bit of life back to her eyes. That being said, he was a jerk in Eclipse, but I adored the tent scene with him and Edward...nice insight to both characters

Nope. I love Jasper too. One of the things I especially loved in Eclipse was to get insight into Jasper's background and why being vegetarian is so much harder for him than some of the others. I sympathize with Jasper in many ways and I know he loves Alice beyond all description.

Ok, I am gonna try this but I don't discuss well.

I like Jacob. I am Swiss too, although I do love Bella/Edward much much better. I loved NM and will love the movie whereas others will hate it up until Edward comes back. I loved the forming friendship between Jacob/Bella and I was shipping them a bit up until BD when Jacob imprinted on Nessie then it was Jacob/Nessie all the way for me. I understand why he did what he did in Eclipse. I know a lot of people didn't like it, actually hated it but I didn't mind it. I am a strange person and a romantic at heart.

This is why I have these little discussion questions each week. I love getting different opinions. It feeds me. Sorry if I made you or anyone else upset. I don't mean to but I wanted to give my opinion.

I liked Jacob a little better by Breaking Dawn and I'm definitely Jacob/Nessie all the way but he's still not my favorite lol

I have no issues with varying viewpoints. I'll try to start answering your discussion questions more. I like discussing :D
