Hmm... Thoughts? Or has everyone given up on it already?

I don't feel so great about the casting. For one thing, that guy is not big enough or hot enough to be Richard. And I assume the old guy was Zedd...yeah...not so much.
Sigh...why couldn't they make it a legitimate movie instead of this poop?

Well, the only good news about it is that it appears Sam Raimi is the executive producers going over all the details and discussing matters with Terry Goodkind to try to get the environments close to the books. And my argument about the movie idea is the same as Sam and Terry's; there's just too much goddamn story content. lol. It's kind of like the final book in the Harry Potter series is so in-depth that the movie version has been split into two.

But, again, just opinion. As yes, "Richard" is definitely too scrawny and does NOT have his woodsman good looks. As for Zedd...? I can only hope that the scene in the preview is simply one of his more dark and serious pieces; after all, the handing over of the Sword of Truth is a somewhat dark and brooding event for him.

I don't know. I'm just arguing in hopes of being right. I sincerely hope Raimi doesn't screw it up.

By the way, does it seem like Kahlan seems a bit...old in comparison to Richard in this preview? She seems almost MORE physically imposing than him. lol
