It's been a long time since I've updated last. I keep thinking of things I want to write about, but by the time I actually sit down to write, I've already forgotten the subject matter. And it also appears that these bits and pieces are getting more and more personal. However, as a writer, it's hard not to have your words reflect your feelings.

I've just downloaded the first four seasons of Rescue Me, as I've been wanting to watch it for a really, really long time. I watched one episode during Christmas time before my father died that I really, really liked - what drew me to the show was similar to what you've written. It's how REALY the dialogue and everything was - how "everyday" it was. When they were hanging out at this bar thing (again, don't know anything about the show yet), the banter they were having and how they talked made me feel like I could slot my friends and myself right into the scene.
