It's a new day
For the past few days everything has been kinda up and down for me, but then again..thats normal. Someone realized that I was missing something and he pushed me to pick up my heart (my nikon) and get out and shoot something..anything. So after resisting for as long as possible without being yelled at, I did. Granted, my creativity has been shit and I've been in the slums for a bit, but this helped. I ventured out to the bluffs in the art district in the cold after dropping the kid off at school. It's about 33 degrees and the wind chil is about 25..add in the bluffs and the river below and it was cold!!! But guess what..I loved it. I felt so alive and happy just being out there letting my eye wander.
Didnt get a lot of good shots, but I got a lot of perspective on things I've been unsure about and even worried about. So yay for me. Thank you Ryan. If you had not pushed me via your boot to my ass..I probably would not have done it. Somehow you knew I needed it. Thank you tons and I owe you!
