Omg how do you even do that kind of painting. That's beautiful!

Thank you so much, darling. :D And it happens with a hell of a lot of patience and sleeplessness.

I love all the detail, and her heart tattoo, and the birds... really fantastic! I'm just curious, are you an art major?

I'm glad you like it! :D And actually, I am a college failure. Haha. I have my Associates and I was going to go to CalArts last Fall, until money became an issue. So instead I think I shall be going to a CalState and taking English, which makes sense, as writing is actually an equal, if not bigger, love of mine.

ugh, sorry it took so long to reply!

ha, are you from/in San Diego? I'm trying to escape right now.
thanks for answering my question, I was curious because your work is refined enough to look like you've maybe had some formal instruction. Good luck with English, I'm sure you'll do very well.

Aw, don't worry about it! I'm terrible at expedient responses myself. :D

I'm pretty near SD; I'm in LA! Well, not technically, but it's pretty much LA (I'm in Glendale). Thank you for the compliment by the way - for my technique I have Nick Carter and Lord of the Rings to thank - Nick Carter got me drawing faces as a young pre-teen, and LoTR got me painting them. Over and over and over, haha, so I got pretty proficient. Really, watercolour is just all patience - and a few tricks here and there that you discover from messing up. ;)
