I'm going to be in Vegas for the World Series this year. Its my first time in Vegas. I've been wanting to go for years now. I should be more excited, but I'm pretty calm actually. It is nice to be overly rolled for vegas. That said, I guess the key phrase is "pace yourself." My plan is to start at lower limit cash games and hopefully jump up. I'm also playing a tournament, so it's pretty much poker all day every day, which is fine with me.

Theres actually a lot of people from different countries that play in the series. One of my friends is coming in from Scotland, theres a few players from Italy I know, theres even an unofficial "Team Israel" where all the players are high stakes players, who are some of the best players in my opinion. Its the world series because it draws in people from all over the country, moreso than any of the other poker events throughout the year.'

Theres really no "american teams". Oh I am talking about Poker by the way, I didnt make that clear. No baseball here : )

Oh perfect, I arrive on July 7th.

If you've played there before then you know the games are not as good as they are at Foxwoods. To get Vegas ready, I suggest playing a low stakes game on stars.

Also, when you say not as good, you mean the play quality? Or you mean not as juicy?

Not as juicy. Most 1/2 games don't have any real money on the table. Pot sizes are tiny compared to what you get on Sats at the Woods.
