We entered the world of AMAZING artistic masterpieces, sculptures, architectural works & decorations.
It was truly a humbling experience for us both.

We had the coins but also didn't bother to throw in. Not too impressed with the rude italians, the crowd and the agency also gave us a lok hotel back then. Either hotels in Rome are generally old and lok, or the better ones are way too expensive.

I know right! If not for the snobbish Italians, pick-pockets & gypsies, Italy would have been perfect (in our opinion).

We were told prior to the trip that the hotels are generally more lok kok (4 stars and all), so we were kinda mentally prepared for it.
