College degrees and salaries

Yeah, I think the person counts so much more then the degree. If you can figure out the system you can be sucessful with no degrees at all.

If I go on for a PhD it will be harder to get a job and I will end up making less money then with a masters. I thought that was kind of interesting. good times. :-)

Damn, their national average numbers seem really really ridiculously low to me. And I'm not even the type to care about money-- I just don't even know anyone who could survive on some of those starting salaries! I guess California is practically an outlier, since the cost of living here is so much higher, so starting salaries must be higher for everyone here too.
