Wine
Kelly and I went to the Boston Wine Expo today. The highlight, I have to admit, was the cheese samples. Mmmmmmm truffle cheese. I realized that wine expos are definitely not my bag of tea, because they are way too crowded for me to handle. Swimming and I
I am taking a swimming class for P.E. and I LOVE IT! Talk about the best decision ever! Actually, I think I can think of a few decisions that have had a greater impact on my happiness, but swimming is up there. I wish I had gotten into swimming earlier in my life. Cafe Nightmare
The cafe situation here in Cambridge is dismal to say the least. Since I'm hopeless when it comes to doing real work in my home, and since I *love* cafes, I decided to scope out the local scene. Today was an ORC bowling event attended mostly by the first year OR students. I talking to a bunch of the incoming students for the first time. We're in the same classes but somehow I hadn't spoken a word to most of them prior to today. Anticlimactic first day
Today was my first official day of grad school. Unfortunately I am majorly sick...thank you very much, body. The illness really creeped up on me. In a daze
Returned last night from a week in "the DR" (Punta Cana, Dominican Republic) for Kathy's wedding. It's a little weird to be back in Seattle and away from a humid beach environment and free Pina Coladas and Coca Locas at all hours of the day. Welcome back to me
This past weekend I underwent a personal revolution. I organized my life and have begun to actually get things done. Hopefully it will last for at least a few weeks.
