I just got hooked on another british show, Being Human. I'm sort of dying inside because they left us on a crazy cliffhanger last episode, and I have to wait till the weekend for the resolution (and season finale! *sad*), but OMFG its so amazing. Please watch this short trailer below.

I think I got a good chip-free week out of on the prowl. It's definitely chiptastic now. I may have to look into that base coat.

I lurrrve it. When I first bought On the Prowl, it probably only lasted a couple days before it started to chip (again, no top coat, I don't have a proper one), so I saw a dramatic improvement. Plus, the box for the base coat said its really good for people who have their hands in water or chemicals a lot.

Thanks for the tip on the base coat, I always have issues with nail polish chipping!

I use two layers of top coat because my nail color will mark up paper and walls.

I bought a shu uemura eyelash curler. It's pretty amazing.

I have Metro Chic and I love the purple-ness to it. (Purple and grey are two of my favorite colors), but I also like the grey-greyness of the MAC polish. I just bought Access 24/7 by Opi for Sephora. It's a serious hot pink and I love it.

It marks up the walls?!?! damn! I can't say I've ever had that happen.

I love Metro Chic, too, but I ordered it online because it was totally sold out at the one by me, and I was kinda going by the promo pictures from one of the catalogs a while back, so I wasn't totally expecting the purple-ness. Also, I wish the brush was a bit wider, like the regular OPI ones. But it is a great color.

and zomg, i <3 hot pink. I have this really really neon pink polish that I got at Ricky's in NYC a couple summers ago, by a brand called Matisse. Sooo hot.
