Merlin season 2 episode 3 squee post
omigosh Merlin today was so awesome! It was one of my favorites so far. Morgana episode!!! Katie, bb, ilu so hard, girl. Plus, Merlin/Morgana is my ship on the side, and this episode had it in spades!
Arthur, your blue outfit is so hunky. Lookin' good, stud.
Gaius made me so sad with his blunt refusal to help morgana at all. And Merlin, this whole thing could have played out so much more smoothly if you had just told Morgana that it was magic. You didn't even have to tell her it was because you are magic, too!
Ahaha Slash Dragon, he's like, i don't care what that witch's name is, and Merlin is like QUIT THAT. haha Slash Dragon was hilarious in this episode.
Oh Merlin, you want to tell her so bad. SO BAD! Or make out with her. OR BOTH.
Those scorpions were creepy as HAYell. Good thing Dr. Moon was there to save little red riding Morgana.
Awww Lil' Mordred! "Now I can take care of you, like you did me." That kid is adorable, but just creepy enough. A+ casting. I hope they can keep using him as Mordred as he gets older.
Also, can we take a moment for Arthur and his glorious windswept hair?
Oh Merlin leavin' a trail. But I have to wonder why Merlin's trail was super easy to follow and Morgana left none at all.
Bradley is such a good actor. He really conveys that he'd rather not be following Uther's crazy "no prisoners" order while still basically ensuring that that's what his knights will do. :/ AND HE LOOKS SEXY WHILE DOING IT. *ahem*
Also, can I please have a gif or icon of Merlin dissapearing into the magical mist? because that shit was damn sexy.
Katie, you make me feel better about being super pale. Well, you and all the asian women who come into the store and fawn over my whiteness.
So, is it just me, or does Colin have an English accent fail when he says "You can trust me, Morgana, I won't tell anyone." I mean, as an American I'm not a great judge anyway, but the first time watching I was like WHOA, YOUR IRISH IS SHOWING, COLIN.
And when he takes a little breath there right before she kicks him out, HE TOTES WANTED TO TELL HER. I wanted him to, too. Because I want someone to know, and I really feel like at LEAST Morgana should find out before the season is over.
Ahhh this last scene between Arthur and Merlin, BRILLIANT. When Arthur de-lurks from the corner and says "this has to stop" oh god, it just felt so slashy and dirty. I love it. And it seems like we're meant to be scared that Arthur found out about the magic, but that didn't even enter into my mind as a possibility. I also love that Arthur is trying to be really caring and gentle about having this chat with Merlin. When he says "Your affections for Lady Morgana, there was no hint of mockery or condescention, it really reminded me how much Arthur cares about Merlin. And then they ease back into the banter while still hinting that Arthur is pining away for Gwen. Guh, all the little shifts and tones in this scene, I really really love it. It also really drives home how totally and utterly devastated and betrayed Arthur will be when he does finally find out (I can't wait!). I saw an interview with Bradley where he basically said he couldn't wait to see how that would play out when they do it, so I'm pretty confident it wasn't put into this season at all.
As for Gaius and Merlin's touching scene, I was still kinda mad at Gaius, so I didn't care so much.
And then next week Lancelot is back!! I love him. In fact, the reason I even started watching Merlin is because I heard that Santiago Cabrera was in it, and I really loved him on Heroes. Plus, it seems like Merlin and Arthur get plenty of time together, and that is always win! yay!
So I know that the Merlin Secrets and Magic for episode 2 only just aired on Friday, does anyone know if there will be one for this episode and when it will air?
