Three exciting things that I'm excited about!
Thing number one: FRINGE! I just watched the episode from Thursday, "Jacksonville", and WOW. Great episode. Also, I need some Fringe icons.
SPOILERS HERE Oh Walter! Walter is one of my favorite characters on tv right now, John Noble is just incredible. He breaks me. His guilt over Olivia and the experiments he did on her? And the whole freaking arc involving Peter, just...wow. AND OLIVIA FINALLY KNOOOOOWS!! So Astrid suspects, and Walter and Olivia know, and Peter still has no clue that anything weird is going on.
And it looks like they might be starting to move forward with a Peter/Olivia love story. I am not very excited about that. Don't get me wrong, I LOOOVE the sexual tension between the two, but I never ever want anything to happen. I just want them to smolder forever. Its all well and good for Bones, but I kinda would rather Fringe focused more on the cases and the sci-fi, and as a super-shipper that's saying a lot. But the science and cases are so interesting, and I think the underlying mythos behind everything is so fascinating! Besides, anyone can see that the most interesting relationship on the show is Peter and Walter. Hellooooo daddy issues, I has them.

Also, can we just talk about how hot Joshua Jackson is? I thought he was hot as Pacey, but I feel he's only gotten better with age. For some reason I am very attracted to his browbone. The little crease in the center? GUH. Him and Joe Armstrong (Allan A Dale from Robin Hood) both have that really prominent brow ridge, and I AM INTO IT.
Thing number two: Ethics of Attraction by nagi_schwarz. An AU Merlin fanfic (Merlin/Arthur) that is freaking awesome. I've been devouring it like crack one chapter at a time while the author was reposting from the kink meme, and today she finally posted the final part. The characterization is awesome, the UST is incredible, and the plot is fascinating. In the fic, Arthur is a lawyer representing Merlin, and the author herself is in law school (I believe), so its very realistic and detailed about the American legal system. It also presents a really interesting ethical dilemma about the lawyer/client relationship. Ohhhh you guys its so so good. Please go read it.
Thing number three: VALENTINES DAY NAILS! I have a bunch of ideas for them, so I've decided to start early, and just keep doing valentine nails all week. Today I did french tips with China Glaze Heli-yum and China Glaze Fairy Dust on top. Simple and cute, and I love french tips. Non-traditional french nails make me feel sophisticated and edgy at the same time. :D I will definitely be posting pictures of my nails on my dailybooth, because I usually do (go check it out if you want to see some of my past nails), but I will also try to post them back on here. Its odd, but my right hand (that I painted with my left, shown above) turned out much neater than my left hand (which was painted with my right). I am right-handed, so usually its the other way around!
