Seriously... My sister is rather slutty. She joined Match.com. She says she's too busy to search for a man. Um, ok. She has no job, so how is she busy?
There is nothing wrong with Internet dating. It has worked for many. She unfortunately seems to not know how to conduct herself like

She looks like she's smelling poo! She thinks she was fired for being pretty? Pretty in the smelling poo contest. I didn't even look at her body since I don't like women to be all that muscular... but I can appreciate the hard work.

Yup. That's her. I give her credit for all the hard work she does for body competitions (even if she does get kinda neurotic over it), but she never listens to me about working on her facial poses. It's like on ANTM... you have to model from head to toe. I tell her to practice in the mirror, but she doesn't. She has this horrible way of smiling that is just horrific because she hates her full smile & tries to tone it down which makes it more like a grimace.

I've wanted to tell her the ugly truth many times, but can't bring myself to do it. I don't want to make her cry. She cries enough on her own. I agree that she does need therapy. She went for a little while a few years ago, but refused medication. She's all about homeopathic remedies. She's desperate for the romance in movies & deluded herself into thinking it happens to everyone. Love isn't easy or perfect. Marriage is hard & so is motherhood. I look forward to the moment I can laugh & say I told you so. I like to think I've reached a point that her put downs don't affect me as much as they once did. Just last night she insulted me because of how I was dressed (no make up, tank top, no bra, jean shorts that had the zipper down by accident) saying I have to take care of myself for my husband, blah blah blah. I shrugged it off seeing as my husband loves me & after 4 yrs of marriage still desires me. I'm lucky. She has meaningless sex with guys she meets online... Really? That's not a heathly sex life. Active? Sure.

I feel real bad for her skanky ass now.... she thinks THINGS are going to make her happy. Alcohol, sex, trophies, a boy friend, wedding, husband, baby.... if you aren't happy to begin with, no amount of accomplishments or stuff will make you happy.

Maybe it's because these past two years with all the medical SHIT that has rained down on me, but at a moments notice, my life can be flipped upsidedown and those things may augement my attitude, but it doesn't dictate it.

Looking back these nine years with all the crap that I've been through with the marriage, and everything that comes with it.... I truely believe it was my attitude that was the difference maker. I read a few books for my degree on attitudes and making someone else's day (FISH philosophy). It makes sense now... if I choose to allow some pretty awful things to bring me down then my life would be totally different. I would be divorced and Dan probably would be dead.
