Dear Santa,
All I would like for the holidays is to be able to pay our bills on time, buy groceries when we need them, buy diapers for my son, & put gas in the cars without going broke each month.

I like my privacy. I hate when people show up unannounced to my home. If you call & I don't answer the phone it does not mean come over anyways. Just because my car is in the driveway does not mean I'm in any shape to be receiving guests.

I have a toddler that is a mission to get him to take naps... Don't bother us when he's napping!

I think I need to call my doc on Monday for an appointment. Possibly staph infection... In my nose! Wtf? It's been sore & uber sensitive in my right nostril. A few days ago it was irritated from the cold air. My nasal passages dry out easy. Now my nostril is swollen, red, sore, etc. I thought it was from emmet kicking me in the nose too many ( Read more... )

Sometimes I wonder if any1 reads my LJ or Facebook. I know there are those that read my LJ & seeing as I don't post much I understand not leaving comments. On FB I have tons of family as friends & after I posted about falling down the stairs w/ E not a single family member commented. I didn't want a home with stairs. I didn't really have a choice though. It's our home now. & the stairs? Deadly. I've fallen down the stairs twice holding Emmet.

1st time was walking up the tiled steps & sliced my big toe open. Emmet got a bruise on his back. That was a month ago.

I've been a nail biter for as long as I can remember. Not even fake nails stopped me. They helped, but no cure.
Gideon is a horrific nail biter. Has been his whole life. He says he's tried it all to stop.

Our fridge is overflowing with left overs. I don't want to eat them. I ate so much yesterday. We have 3 pies... Why? Looking at the fridge made me realize how healthy I eat now. How do I encourage E to play on his own? He just had a crying tantrum because I wouldn't play cars with him. I've been playing with him since we woke up! He refuses to nap despite being tired & I can't even get him to sit on the couch let alone lay in bed.
He hates to be alone, so playing on his own in the playroom doesn't seem like it'll happen.

Emmet refuses to nap. Then he passes out on himself about dinner time.

How do I get him to nap? When I see he's tired I try & get him to lay down it's a lot of screaming, crying, & running away from me.
