Summary: Victor's not used to having someone around yet.

Victor was still getting used to having someone else in the house at all hours. He’d spent years by himself, confirmed bachelor, and all that, and now he was married and wasn’t quite sure what to do with himself.

"Oops, sorry!"

Janet stuck her head in while he was shaving and he nearly slit his throat. She ducked back out, just as fast.

"Sorry, I’m sorry!"

He finished shaving and wiped his face, noting that there wasn’t as much blood as he’d initially thought.

Janet was sitting on the bed, wearing nothing but one of his shirts, looking thoroughly embarrassed.

"I’m sorry."

"Don’t worry about it."

He gave her a reassuring smile. She didn’t have the heart to tell him it was more frightening than reassuring.

Victor had opened the closet and was attempting to find a shirt that wasn’t faded or pink from his attempts at washing them when she snuck up on him again. This time it was on purpose.

"Hey, Victor."

He jumped.

"You got anything big this morning?"

He glanced at her. "I’ve got to give a physics test at ten."

"Oh, good. Plenty of time."

She pinned him to the wall and shucked the shirt off.

"You know, if this happened before every test I gave, complaining students would be much easier to deal with."

Janet grinned at him and bit his chin.
