"Another one at St. James," Catharine sighed. "I’m a little jealous."
Geoffrey had a mild panic attack. "Uh, baby, two months is a little soon."
She waved her hand. "No. That’s not what I meant. Last guy I dated almost asked and fucked my sister."
Geoffrey parked and kissed her cheek. "I don’t find your sister appealing," he promised. She shoved him off with a snort and got out of the car.
"Flatterer."
He hopped out of the car and ran to catch her. Scooped her into his arms.
"What are you doing?" she giggled.
"Carrying you over the threshold."
"But we’re not married!"
"So?"
"I’ll beat you."
He deposited her in the foyer after wrestling with the lock for a moment.
"I’d just enjoy it."
