04: Sweet Tooth
Frank raided the cabinets intently.
"It’s got to be around here somewhere," he hissed to himself. Leftover Halloween candy didn’t just disappear. And Leslie never ate leftover Halloween candy.
She pulled into the drive way. Speak of the devil…
Frank took a long look around at the mess he’d made of the kitchen and panicked. He started jamming things back into the cabinets, onto shelves, into racks, hoping he got everything in the right place. He stumbled on a pan and fell into the stove, burned his hand on a cooling eye, and fell loudly.
A sack of potatoes fell on him and he landed on a cookie sheet. Which was on a can of tomato sauce. The can broke open and red gunk went everywhere.
"What the hell is going on here?" Leslie shouted from the bar.
Frank could only gape at her as the leftover Halloween candy poured onto his head.
